Terms and Conditions

Mini Minding Events has terms and conditions in place to ensure the safety and happiness of the children using the service at all times.

Booking
At the time of booking a 20% non-refundable deposit is needed to secure the event date. If the event can not go ahead due to government guidelines for covid 19 then the deposit can be refunded or put on hold for a postponement. If the Client cancels the wedding on their own behalf a refund is not available. The full balance is to be paid at least 2 weeks before the event. A reminder of this will be sent. A receipt will be sent for the client to keep for their records. For bookings which are over £500 payment plans can be put in place. This will need to be agreed at the time of booking.

GDPR
Amanda is the only person who can access emails. All personal information sent via the enquiry form is secured within a password. All information sent is not shared with anyone. Amanda can speak with the clients venue about the booking with the clients consent. All children’s information is kept securely. The ‘about me’ form which is given to the client before the consultation is stored securely and printed out on the day of the event for the staff attending the event. This information is then shredded the day after the booking. No information is kept after the date of the event. If an enquiry is sent and they decide not to go ahead with the booking their information is deleted.

Health and safety
All toys are cleaned before and after use, with all toys then being checked against the risk assessment. All toys taken to an event are age appropriate to the children at the event. The consultation notes are also used in order to ensure the correct toys and resources are taken.

The ‘about me’ form is to completed before the wedding to ensure all staff are aware of any medication or any information that is needed about the child. By signing the about me form you are consenting for your child to be under the Mini Minding Events team care in the arranged booking time.

A risk assessment is to be completed by Amanda either before or on the day of the Event. If the risk assessment has been completed before the date of the event a review of this is to be taken on the day.

In larger group bookings a wristband option will be available for all children to wear. Parents need to inform a member of staff if they chose to take the child away from the service for a period of time. Children can come and go with a parents consent only and parents need to escort them to and from the service.

A first aid kit will be available at all times and a staff member will contact the adult which is named as a contact on the day if necessary.

We do not provide travel cots, if these are needed in our care, we ask for them to be provided by the parents / guardians.

We ask for a large bag to be provided on the day with everything your child may need in our care. This includes nappies, wipes, spare clothes, bibs, milk, bottles etc. All staff are able to change nappies.

Staff
Staff working on the day will be wearing the blue logo t-shirt. All staff will follow the staff policy and procedures which are signed on every event. All staff will have read the ‘about me’ forms and be aware of all information needed.

Covid -19
We will be following all government guidelines on best practice. All staff will be offered lateral flow tests up to 24 hours before the event if they have any symptoms.
